The Rimba

The Rimba, a heartfelt story created to inspire young readers to care about orangutans and their rainforest home.
The Rimba tells the tale of a wise orangutan, guardian of the forest, who rises to protect her home and the creatures within it. Blending lyrical storytelling with real conservation themes, the book encourages children to reflect on kindness, cooperation, and collective action. Inspired by the spirit of The Lorax, it provides an accessible and engaging way to introduce young people to the challenges facing orangutans today.

Jane Griffiths, a school teacher with a passion for inspiring children through education.
